Mary is part of KLG’s excellent legal assistant team that keeps things at the firm running smoothly! Her superior organizational skills, attention to detail and a positive, can-do spirit help to provide great service for our clients. Mary graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in December 2015, where she majored in Economics and Political Science. Mary knows that working for a civic-conscience company is important to her, so she is glad to have found Kasieta Legal Group, a firm that values their employees, their customers and their community through their actions, not just their words. In her free time, Mary likes to volunteer, watch movies, go on long walks around her neighborhood and travels whenever she can!

Mary is a member of the local chapter of the NAACP, an established, grassroots organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic opportunities of minorities. She enjoys being a part of a historic organization with a proven track record breaking down barriers! She hopes to use her education to assist the organization in any way she can and bring more young people to the organization.

A former Wildcat, when Mary returned to her neighborhood after college, she looked up the Verona food pantry she volunteered with in High School only to discover that the small church-basement storeroom had been moved and transformed into the well-lit, wide-aisled mini-grocery store it is today. She has volunteered for a wide variety of tasks, but her favorite is working the Saturday community meals. She tells everyone, "You may come to your first community meal in the good spirit of volunteering, but you’ll keep coming back because the food is so tasty!"]

As a student at UW-Madison, Mary was a Badger Volunteers team leader where she led a group of fellow students in weekly volunteer trips with a community partner. The consistency created a lasting relationship with a valuable community partner, instilled a connection with the city of Madison and the UW students beyond campus and most importantly met a vital need for the neighborhood served.]
